Repository of common assumptions used in the definitions of the scenarios and disruptive events

This file contains the main assumptions of the SURE modelling framework for the quantification of the pathways and the shock scenarios. As the SURE modelling framework includes a diverse set of interlinked models, many important variables affecting the quantification are results from the framework. This particularly refers to macroeconomic developments, energy service demands, energy prices and emissions. It follows that inputs to the framework are the Reference projections of GDP and population, technology costs, resource potentials, international prices as well as climate data. All these are inputs which are outside the scope of the employed models in the SURE modelling framework.
